Dennis concentrates his practice in all phases of corporate securities and mergers and acquisitions. His practice areas include Prior to joining Moritt Hock & Hamroff, LLP, Dennis maintained a private corporate consulting practice which provided assistance to public companies, and to emerging private companies transitioning to public companies. Prior to establishing his own consulting practice, Dennis was a partner at the law firm of Ruskin Moscou Faltischek P.C. where his practice included representing issuers and underwriters in initial public offerings, secondary offerings, private placements and mergers and acquisitions. In addition, Dennis has worked with emerging growth companies in various corporate transactions, including corporate finance and bank financings. Upon graduation from the United States Naval Academy in 1989, Dennis assumed the position of Communications Officer and Top Secret Control Officer aboard the USS BUTTE (AE-27). Active in the community, Dennis regularly appears before groups of attorneys and major business leaders as a speaker on a variety of legal topics. His opinion is often sought by business publications and he has been quoted in Long Island Business News on various SEC-related issues. In addition, Dennis has published several articles on timely corporate and securities issues including the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Dennis graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1989 and received his J.D from Hofstra University, in 1995. Dennis is admitted to practice in both the New York State and New York Federal Courts.
